Yoghurt Berry Compote & Muesli
Serves 1, Less the 5 minutes
Ingredients
200g Greek Yoghurt i.e. Chobani, Farmer’s Union
1C frozen berries
tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/4C of muesli or Gluten Free Muesli if you have Coeliac Disease
Method
1. In a mug or microwave safe dish, place the cup of berries and put in microwave for 1-2 minutes. Until soft and juices are coming out of fruit.
2. In a separate bowl, place the yoghurt, vanilla essence, and muesli.
3. Once berries are finished in microwave, top the yoghurt with them. Then dust with cinnamon to serve.
This is a simple recipe perfect as a post work out snack or breakfast.
Nutritional Info
It is high in calcium, providing one serve and fibre. This meal is also high in fibre, provides one serve of fruit and a serve of whole grains.
