Steamed Bok Choy
Ingredients
2 heads of Bok Choy
Cracked pepper
A small drizzle of Olive Oil
2 tsp fish sauce
2 tsp soy sauce (use Gluten Free soy sauce if you have Coeliac Disease)
Method
1. Heat water to a simmer in a large wok. Simmer is tiny bubbles rising to the top (95-98 degrees Celsius)
2. Wash the Bok Choy thoroughly as the ends usually have dirt in them. Then slice the Bok Choy length wise.
3. Then place in simmering water for 2-3 minutes on each side. Until the stem has slightly softened.
4. Take Boy Choy out of water and gently shake off any excess water.
5. To serve place of serving dish and drizzle with the olive oil, fish and soy sauce. Finally crack pepper over the top.
